Too little time allotted between announcement of this thingy and the date for submission.
May 22nd, 2010 at 10:18 am
I agree with the short time; between topic anouncement and submission, teams will have to decide who among them will write and on which topic; then that blogger will have veryyy little to come up with something good… I know this is to make it more challenging, but pleeeeease, can we have a bit more time? say 10-12 days in between? Of course, subject to what others say…
May 22nd, 2010 at 11:23 am
interesting schedule..maybe you can keep the number of days to 5; but my only request would be to include weekend in each slot so that the teams can at least get some time to discuss/write.
May 22nd, 2010 at 11:29 am
I agree with Neha – some of us will definitely need the weekend to get quality posts out!
May 22nd, 2010 at 11:48 am
I second with Neha. Weekend sounds good.
May 22nd, 2010 at 3:00 pm
YEs please weekend … Shifts works here… sometime 10pm to 4am so weekend wud do goood
May 22nd, 2010 at 7:29 pm
I vote for weekend too.. It’s difficult (almost impossible) to blog on weekdays..
May 23rd, 2010 at 1:40 am
would it be possible to have just 6/7 blog posts per group in a group of 8? so that 1/2 members can be excused per round in case of emergency?
May 23rd, 2010 at 2:14 am
We need to play at weekends…And work thru the week!
May 23rd, 2010 at 3:05 am
I second and third and fourth everyone above who has asked for a weekend in between. Otherwise its way too difficult.
And , are there any prizes (other than the virtual ones, I mean)?
May 23rd, 2010 at 11:01 am
I m not taking part, but announcements of schedule can make it possible to have post ready much before. Of course, there will be last minute changes but that will be much better.
May 23rd, 2010 at 11:55 am
Attention all teams: BPL Schedule has been rescheduled to include a weekend in every round.

Waiting for the new schedule with weekends to be announced
May 23rd, 2010 at 5:43 pm
@Abhamidha
The schedule has been updated. All the rounds start have a weekend accommodated.
May 23rd, 2010 at 11:23 pm
This is to thank u for the changes u made in the schedule….
We have gr8 fun during this weekend discussing and preparing our post of introduction, Our google talk zone was a small coffee shop and each one had to make a coffee and self serve…I am very happy with my chirpy team members, who are so talented and accomodating and have a gr8 team spirit, whether we win all the rounds or not, we have already worn a killing instinct….We have purchase brand new swords of words, sharpening them till 26th May

Good Morning .
When is the topic announcement?
Shouldn’t we place a BPL participant logo on our respective blogs?

Hi,
would like to part of the second edition.
does registering in your site alone enough for that?
June 4th, 2010 at 9:33 am
@ Tuppence,
I addressed your query earlier in contests post but let me answer again here too. Since you are a Cafeite we will update you but do keep track of us since we have many contests lined up before the second edition of BPL. Cheers.

Dear BPL Team members,
When we rescheduled the BPL to include weekend , it released us few more dates between the originally planned result announcement and the Super 5 round that begins on 9th June. And since the Super 6 rounds are highly competitive , we thought of giving two extra day for judges. So the result of Super 6 will be announced on 6th of June.
And also I want a feedback from you, how about having a fun group post at the end of Super 5 ? during the period you wait for result ?
If you are all a game we will have another group fun post at the end of SUPER 5 round.
June 4th, 2010 at 1:27 pm
Maybe not. This itself is taking quite some time…
June 4th, 2010 at 1:35 pm
Group post! I’m for that..

June 4th, 2010 at 2:35 pm
Yeah group post would be interesting …. provided every one agrees
June 4th, 2010 at 4:52 pm
Yes. I think it maybe a good idea to have a fun post when waiting for the results. But make it something optional and allow eliminated teams also to participate in that if they like. Maybe in the end you can also give a separate award for team with best branding.

The BPL itself is so exhausting! We were all up late the night before submissions!!!! I would suggest some rest while awaiting for results!
June 14th, 2010 at 4:55 pm
@demosmita
A Bloggers Premier League is competitive and exhausting but that is what any competitive sporting event is all about right?! To test oneself and bringing out the best under pressure. And for the rest, yes you have 6 days of rest before the result is announced
and 2 days after the results are announced
you can recharge your energy batteries that time !
June 14th, 2010 at 7:10 pm
6 days is too long. Target Friday.
